The Inaugural DC Zombie Crawl (DC/ZC) is a zombie walk with a purpose! We Are trying to do our part to make sure that no child in the DC metro area goes without a present this holiday. We have teamed up with Toys For Tots and several local businesses to make this event a huge success, but we still need YOUR help!

Our zombie crawl will start off in front of the Washington Monument. It begins at 6pm for present drop off and a meet and greet. At this time participants will also have a chance to sign up for our costume contests later that evening! Zombie participants should come dressed (for advice on how to be a zombie check here), but if the makeup part isn’t something you would like to take on yourself, we will have a team of professionals on hand to do your makeup for a small cash donation to Toys For Tots. If you would like to use our makeup artist we ask that you arrive there promptly at 6pm. We only have limited time and limited artists, and we want to make sure everyone gets a chance!

After the meet and greet and registration period is over, we will go over the rules and then”crawl” around the monuments doing our best zombie acting. Sometime after 9pm we will end the “crawl” part and go on to the celebration part.

For our zombies over 21 who wish to partake in some adult beverages, we have SEVERAL bars in Adam’s Morgan offering drink specials, free covers and/or food specials as a thank you to our zombie participants. Asylum, has also agreed to host our costume contest/ awards show. IMPORTANT NOTE; this event is NOT a bar crawl, it is a zombie crawl, with the option of celebrating afterwords at various Adam’s Morgan’s bars who have agreed to sponsor the event. After the debauchery ends free cab rides up to $50 are available and we have worked out a deal with the “way too nice for a bunch of zombies” Churchhill Hotel to give participants rooms for $99! For our zombie cohorts under 21 or who wish to avoid bars, we will be having a different celebration. We will be holding a party at The Church Of The Pilgrim, with food, drinks, live bands and a special costume contest for this group as well!
